In re Motorola Corp. Securities Litigation

We were co-lead counsel and represented Motorola stock purchasers. The lawsuit alleged that investors were led to believe that demand for Motorola cellular phones was growing rapidly and that Motorola’s ability to ship phones was limited only by its capacity to produce certain semiconductor chips. Plaintiffs alleged that Motorola actually knew that supply far exceeded demand, which caused Motorola’s stock price to plummet when the market learned the truth. We settled this case for Motorola’s investors for $25 million.
